World of Park and Leisure Homes Review

It was a brilliant three days at the World of Park and Leisure Homes show at Stoneleigh, with the pleasure of seeing loads of people drop in at our stand. Our team members loved chatting with existing & potential customers from local parks and further away and those thinking of becoming the owners of a park or leisure home in the not-too-distant future.

Many of those who dropped by took the opportunity to enter our free prize draw. Well done to Anne Wilkinson for winning our lovely Fortnum and Mason hamper we were raffling away. We hope you enjoy the lovely sweet treats and thank you for chatting with us.

Amazing technologies were showcased this year, such as a flood defence mechanism from Flood Technology Group, great for keeping your park or leisure home safe from flooding with controlled mechanical jacks to lift up to 1.5 meters from ground level.

It’s refreshing to see manufacturers creating environmentally friendly options for residents to invest in, from recycled materials, and pre-installed solar panels to charging points for electric cars built right into the park home.

We also saw a few old friends, such as Ibraheem Dulmeer from Park Home Law and Clear View Park Home Surveyor, whom we’ve worked with in the past.

It was great to see a range of leisure options including the Scandinavian Eco Pods for brilliant glamping getaways. Ideal small pods for leisure home parks or even for those with a piece of land going begging.

Berkley Parks and Prestige showcased a range of luxury and mid-range park & leisure homes designed for comfort in mind.

“Every year, the Show provides a great opportunity for existing and prospective park and leisure homeowners to have a gentle stroll and see everything the industry has to offer them. The new homes on show are always a marvel, and while we may not all be able to afford one or be about to move, they showcase the innovative design inherent within the industry. Aside from manufacturers, many of the park operators were present to highlight the community nature of park life. Above all else, however, it’s great to see so many people face to face and have a good chat – be it for the first time or welcoming them again from prior years”  – Ian Hayter, Operations Director

A thank you to the organisers for inviting us this year, it was a pleasure as always.
